ABOUT THE CAMP

Capital City Guitar Camp is a wonderful day camp for students interested in learning and expanding on all of the many fun and exciting facets of guitar!  Every Summer we offer our week-long camp, which is held at Community Church in Round Rock.

We offer classes for all talent levels:  Absolute beginners who have never even touched a guitar before can sign up with our beginner package that includes a brand new guitar and gig bag at a great discount (see price list below).  Intermediate and advanced guitarists get the opportunity to expand their musical skills with improvisation classes, songwriting classes, and recording classes in which the students will record themselves performing in a studio setting!  Finally, every student will take part in our student concert at the end of the week, free to all friends and family.  

Once again this year we will have 30 minute special concerts by guest musicians at the end of every day of camp for students and families to attend for free!  

When:

Camp 2024 will be held June 10th-14th, with the final student concert on Saturday the 15th at 10am

Where:

Camp is held Monday through Friday, 830 am to 2pm at Community Church, 4300 Sam Bass Rd, Round Rock, TX 78681 with a 10am student concert on Saturday. 

Price List:

Enrollment fee includes all concerts, events, materials (excluding guitar), and a free camp tee-shirt (ages 6+)

Single student enrollment:  $345

Sibling rate:  $100 discount for subsequent siblings

Absolute beginner guitar package:  $465

 We teach all students ages 6 through high school, beginner to advanced. We offer classes designed specifically for each age group and talent level, and we design classes for the student based off of their age level/experience

Our team of guitar instructors are among the best available in the country!  With trained and certified guitar instructors from the Childbloom Guitar Program and professional working musicians who are guest teachers and performers at camp, we give the student a remarkably special opportunity to learn from the best.
